Privacy Policy
Last updated · 4 June 2026
Yttrium Studio is in pre-launch. This page explains what personal data we collect through the waitlist, why we collect it, and how we handle it. A more detailed product privacy notice will follow at launch.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by Yttrium Studio (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described on this page. You can reach us at team@yttriumstudio.com.
2. What we collect
When you join the waitlist we collect the information you submit in the form:
- Your name
- Your email address
- How you heard about us
We also receive standard request metadata (IP address, user-agent) from your browser when you load this site, which our hosting provider may temporarily log for security and abuse-prevention purposes. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site and do not set non-essential cookies.
3. Why we collect it (lawful basis)
We process your information on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the waitlist form, for the purposes of:
- contacting you when Yttrium Studio opens to early users;
- sending occasional pre-launch product updates;
- understanding which channels brought people to the waitlist (aggregated).
4. Where it is stored
Waitlist entries are stored in a Supabase Postgres database hosted in the EU (eu-west-1, Ireland). Access is restricted to authorised members of the Yttrium Studio team. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist entry until Yttrium Studio launches and we have contacted you, after which we will either migrate it into the main product account you create or delete it on request. If you ask us to remove you sooner, we will do so within 30 days.
6. Your rights
Under UK and EU data-protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email team@yttriumstudio.com. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date below and, where appropriate, notify people on the waitlist by email.
